LUKE DIJKSTRA D.C.
Luke was born in Calgary, Canada and has lived for extended periods in Holland, Germany, the USA, and Canada. He attended the University of Calgary, where he received a BSc in Zoology.

After completing university, he moved to Los Angeles to study chiropractic at the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (LACC). He graduated summa cum laude in 2002 and has since held the title Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.). He is totally fluent in English and Dutch, both of which are mother tongues.

A few months after graduating from LACC, Luke moved back to Holland and worked in practices in Benekom, Oss and Nijmegen. Besides his practice in The Hague, Luke also practises part-time in Zoetermeer.

Luke Dijkstra’s interest in sport chiropractic stems from the fact that the most advanced therapies are first developed for athletes to help them compete at a higher level and to recover from injuries more quickly. To stay current with quickly developing treatments and therapies, Luke has achieved the International Chiropractic Sport Science Diploma (ICSSD) – the proficiency stage required to treat Olympic-calibre athletes. To enhance this skill level even higher, he is working on a Master’s degree in Advanced Practice in Sport and Rehabilitation.
